Pegasus Service Crew at Bibbys Farm

After a day of chilling out and having fun it was time to help the camp staff at Bibbys Farm. We repaired the road into the camp site, moved tyres from the playground to the go-cart track, moved a pile of fence posts and two huge telegraph poles off the play area and finished off by laying anti-weed matting in the new play ground extension.

Explorers Summer Camp Isle of Man

The Explorers had a fantastic week at the Venture Centre on the Isle of Man. Took part in coastering, gorge walking, assault course, sailing, canoeing, zip wire, cliff abseil, field archery, team challenge, sit on top sea kayaking. Also made some new friends with a Cheshire Guide group, the islands Southern Explorer Scout unit and the staff at the Venture Centre. On the ferry on the way home James talked the crew into letting us visit the bridge. What a week more photos to follow soon on the Explorer pages 🙂

Mersey Moot

The Explorers had an amazing time at the Mersey Moot. It’s an action packed weekend that included a rock concert, climbing, shooting, archery, obstacle courses, giant inflatables, zip wires, disco, karaoke and so much more. It was fantastic to see hundreds of Young People come together from across the UK, enjoying themselves, getting on and having lots of fun.

Pegasus Grows Again

Two more Explorers invested on Friday night whilst orienteering at Level Park. Thats 6 and two leaders since the beginning of the year. Now we just need to find the money to buy more tents for them all.

Gang of Teenagers Spotted in Astley

There were some worried looks and comments from locals in Higher Green Astley as a gang of teenagers were spotted last night roaming the streets after dark.

They were relieved to find it was our Scouts and Explorer Scouts on a Founders Day Scavenger Hunt.

Once again our scouts have helped to change people’s perceptions of teenagers. Well done everyone who took part.
